Just add water...

E-cloth cleaning is simple, but thorough.
It’s also easier and faster than how you’re used to cleaning.

Cleaning with E-cloth is simple – just add water and clean away. E-cloth is used dry for dusting, but for other types of cleaning water is the only cleaning companion*. (*Our Screen and Lens and Digital Photo Frame Cleaning Packs use CleanSafe Spray instead of water.)

E-cloth Etiquette?...
When it comes to applying water we’ve found that there are two apparent types of “E-cloth Enthusiasts:” “The Sprayers” use E-cloth Atomizers to apply water, using dry E-cloths to clean. “The Soakers” wet their E-cloths under the faucet, wring them out, and clean. Often times a dry Glass & Polishing E-cloth is used as the finishing touch. The choice is yours.

Scrolling down will show you a handy alphabetical listing of all E-cloth and CleanSafe products with recommendations on how to use them, but first some general advice...

A Few E-cloth Tips
Heavy-Duty Cloths – For cleaning thick grease and dirt.
Lighter-Weight ClothsFor cleaning light grease and dirt from glass and shiny surfaces.
E-cloth Care & Laundering
For most day-to-day use a warm rinse under the faucet is enough to ready your E-cloth for the next cleaning task.

Washing Instructions: When E-cloths and E-cloth mop heads become so soiled as to require a thorough cleaning, machine wash in hot water (up to 200°), or boil in a saucepan. There are a few exceptions that should be machine-washed at a lower temperature (Dusting Cloths, Drinkware Drying & Polishing Towel, Dry Mop Head and Sponge Cloth). See their individual product listing that follows.

Use minimal detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners. Tumble or air dry.

In alphabetical order:

Bathroom Pack
Sponge Cloth – Use damp or dry. If surface is already wet use dry, otherwise wet thoroughly and wring out excess water. For heavier dirt, initially use wet before finishing damp. Machine wash at medium temperature (140°F).

Glass & Polishing Cloth – Use dry. Or, for cleaning light dirt and grease from windows, mirrors, chrome and tile – spray water onto the surface, fold into a pad and wipe.

Damp Mop Head
Wet under the faucet and wring out excess water (most effective method is to start at the long end and roll it up jellyroll-style, then wring out ). Place the damp mop head velcro side up on the floor and attach the mop base to the center of the mop head. During use the damp head may be rinsed and refitted onto the mop rig. Mopping in an “S” shape is recommended for best dirt pick-up.

Digital Photo Frame Cleaning Pack
Spray CleanSafe sparingly (1-2 sprays). Wipe dry with a clean, dry E-cloth that’s part of this pack. Do not put pressure on the frame screen being cleaned or use other types of E-cloths.

Drinkware Drying & Polishing Towel
Wipe towel on wet or dry glassware to dry or to remove residual grease and dirt. Machine-wash at medium temperature (140°F). Higher temperatures may result in some shrinkage.

Dry Mop Head
Use before Damp Mop Head to remove loose dust and dirt. Place the dry mop head on the floor velcro side up and attach the mop base to the center of the mop head. Suggest mopping in an “S” shape for best dirt pick-up. Machine wash at medium temperature (140°F).
