Rebuilding a town the right way after a devastating tornado

Rebuilding a town with an eye to the future
E-cloth® partners in a small town’s pursuit of making a model green community
for the whole world to follow.

GREENLAND, NH - (May 2009) – At 9:45 pm on May 4th, 2007 an EF5 tornado leveled the rural town of Greensburg, Kansas. Just days after the storm, the community came together and decided to rebuild sustainably, striving to become a model green town for the future. Ever since this landmark commitment was made, Greensburg GreenTown – a grassroots community-based organization – has worked side-by-side with city and county officials, business owners and local residents to incorporate sustainable principles into their rebuilding process.

TADgreen Inc., marketers of E-cloth – a product line dedicated to green cleaning – is proud to be counted among the partners and sponsors of this admirable Greensburg Greentown project. A small, privately held company, TADgreen’s commitment is to offer products that contribute to better consequences – now and in the future – for our environment. TADgreen gifted the families of Greensburg with E-cloth products to help them in their pursuit of making their little town a model green community for the world to follow. The company recently sent its popular E-cloth Kitchen Packs and Bathroom Packs along with E-cloth Water Atomizers  for their new green cleaning life.

E-cloth is a chemical free, eco-friendly line of cleaning cloths and mops. A premium microfiber, E-cloth products clean better than chemicals without chemicals. The specially fabricated cloths allow for fiber function to clean – not chemical reaction. E-cloth’s only cleaning companion is plain tap water.

In addition to eliminating potentially harmful household cleaners and their fumes, E-cloth cleans without paper towels. Paper towels are “one and done.” E-cloths are re-used over-and-over for years of guaranteed cleaning performance. This saves virgin forests used to make paper towels, waste created by their use (and resulting landfill woes), and the use of energy for the manufacture, transport and disposal of them.

The residents of Greensburg can be proud of their rebuilding efforts that are much kinder to the environment. Now they are cleaning what they’ve rebuilt much better, healthier and eco friendlier.

E-cloth® products were introduced in the U.S. by TADgreen Inc., a Greenland, NH-based company founded in 2007, in response to the growing consumer need for environmentally responsible cleaning products. E-cloth’s chemical-free cleaning includes a variety of products for safe use throughout the home, in the office place and outdoors. E-cloth reduces exposure risk to harsh cleaning chemicals
