When e-cloth Alone Isn’t Enough

July 07, 2016

If you follow us on social media or receive our newsletters, you’ll see that we’re really excited about Universal Stone. And for good reason. This is THE go-to product when e-cloth and water alone aren’t enough for handling a cleaning task.

Here’s why we love Universal Stone:
1.   It’s Versatile — Non-abrasive cleaner, cleans, polishes and preserves all in one step
2.   It’s Hard-working — Cleans almost any surface in the home and in the car: metal (stainless steel, aluminum, copper and chrome), grills, ceramic tiles and cooktops, tubs and showers, glass and windows, countertops and fixtures, and more!
3.   It’s a Problem-solver — Can easily replace most other cleaning products in your home
4.   It’s Tough on messes — Easily dissolves limescale and grease

Not only did Tara at Mom Knows Best use Universal Stone to clean her oven (and you know how dirty ovens get! Yikes!), she used it on hard water stains in her refrigerator. Those stains don’t come out with anything…until now!

e-cloth Universal Stone Is An Amazing Eco-Friendly Cleanser

I love discovering eco-friendly cleaners that work!

I strive to live a healthy lifestyle and to me, that means eating natural food and keeping chemicals out of my body and house. Most people think that the only way to get things clean is with harsh chemical cleaners. I am here to prove that you can clean you house with non-chemical cleaners and still get great results. Now when I think of natural cleaners, I think of vinegar, salt, and baking soda. While these can be great natural cleaners, sometimes they just don’t produce the results that I am looking for, and I tend to use not so natural cleaners to get some things clean like my oven. Well, I finally found an eco-friendly cleaner that did an amazing job cleaning my oven and more.

I am here to introduce the Universal Stone environmental-friendly cleaning & polishing stone to you. This wonderful product is made by e-Cloth, the company that makes chemical free cleaning cloths. I love my general purpose e-cloths as they allow me to clean with just water and do a great job. I use my e-cloths almost everywhere from my granite countertops to my bathrooms. There are times when I need some extra cleaning power and that is where the Universal Stone comes in handy. This cleaner cleans any hard surface in the home and is free from toxins and acids. It is also phosphor-free and safe to use around kids and pets. The most amazing part is this cleaner does a terrific job getting dirt and grease off without scratching. I love that I don’t have to wear gloves when I use the cleaning stone as it is gentle on my skin. So what can the Universal Stone clean? It works great on surfaces like stainless steel, wood, plastic, glass, copper, ceramic tiles, granite, bathtubs, and even gold jewelry. I have not come across a hard surface that I can not use this cleaner on.

Just look at the natural ingredients in Universal Stone: soap flakes, green soap, vegetable oils, glycerin, polishing clay earth, and citronella. It is fully biodegradable! You only need a little bit of the product so the container lasts a long time. The cool thing too is the Universal Stone does not expire or lose its cleaning capacity.

The Universal Stone is easy to use too. You just simply wet the included sponge and wipe it on the stone a few times. Then squeeze it to make a foam. I used this foam inside my oven and on the door. I was amazed at how well it cleaned. I then used my e-cloth to rinse the soap off and another e-cloth to dry the oven. I love that I cleaned my oven without harsh chemicals.

I also used the Universal Stone in my kid’s bathroom on the granite countertop. I was so excited to try the stone that I did not get a before picture. The granite in my kid’s bathroom had lots of soap scum on it that I could not get off with just water and it left the granite with a white film. The Universal stone did a great job of removing the soap scum and my granite looked  like new. I also used this Amazing Eco-Friendly Cleanser on a hard water stain on my stainless steel refrigerator, from the water dispenser, and it made that disappear. I have been trying forever to get the stain off my refrigerator. This stone  cleans almost anything without those nasty harsh chemicals.
